The land of Jhovenia is a mystical place, a continent just south of the north pole. The great moose Spirit, Anitook created the land with the help of the great spirit, Naburoo. The two worked together to create the continent. Anitook created the Jhoven, envisioning them to be smart, and strong, and enduring. Naburoo in turn, created the land and brought other creatures to live on the continent to accompany the Jhoven from the closest surrounding continents. From Squirrels, and rabbits, to fish, and bears.

The Spirits of the Seasons, and Even Naburoo himself took a liking to these other creatures. So much so, that they each decided to take on a spiritual form of one of them. These five Spirits take care of and watch over the land of Jhovenia.

The Great Moose spirit. Anitook is the creator of Jhovenia.

Every solstice, Anitook comes down from The Morrow;  highest peak in Jhovenia where land meets sky to signal the new year. Many leave offerings at the base of the peak for him, and human inhabitants set off fireworks in celebration.

Frejya, the Spring Spirit, but better known as the Fertility Spirit.  On the longest day of winter, she prances out from the Yatok fields, bringing with her the bright and sweet smelling flowers, chirping song birds, and buzzing bees.
She is the keeper of the Fertility Trials.

Nanji is  the summer spirit. She ushers the summer season in with a splash. She is a firm but fun-loving Spirit. She does not solely live in Jhovenia. She travels around the world, ushering in summer where needed. When summer comes to Jhovenia however, she can be found primarily around the black sand shores.

Pellee Pelle is the Fall spirit and Prince of Mischief.  He comes out of his burrow in the largest tree on Mount Pellee Pellee to usher in the crisp cold air and all things pumpkin spice. Pellee Pellee is also the spirit of the Harvest. He is the  smallest Spirit of them all.

Naburoo is the spirit of death. He takes all spirits whom have had their time on the earth to the peak of mount Morrow to join the northern lights.
He is a fun-loving spirit who greatly enjoys playing pranks with and on Pellee Pellee.
